Hours of Operation:
Open Daily, 7am - 7pm.
Avid Farms is a unique poultry operation located just off Route 20 between Fredonia and Silver Creek. Pasture-raised poultry – Broad-Breasted Turkeys and Cornish Cross Chickens – is their specialty. Their happy birds are moved to fresh grass daily on their 50-acre farm. Avid Farms do not use pesticides or antibiotics and the birds are processed on farm by the homestead owners, a husband-and-wife team.
Avid Farms also sells eggs, produce (including heirloom tomatoes) and occasionally offer English Walnuts, exotic baked goods including artisanal whole wheat bread, scratch brownies, preserves, and several varieties of small-batch oatmeal coconut cookies. They love to have families visit to meet the livestock and see how their animals are raised in humane and sustainable manners.
Avid Farms are open seven days a week from 7am to 7pm. Drop-ins are always welcome, but please text/call or email to ensure we can greet you upon arrival. We don’t want to miss you if we are tending to the animals in the pasture behind the barns. We are happy to open earlier or stay open later by appointment for your convenience.
