Come learn how to identify common tomato diseases, discover ways to proactively avoid tomato diseases, and discuss effective control practices. The secret to getting a flavorful, juicy tomato is matching up the nutritional needs of your plants with the correct fertility and soil amendments - Elizabeth Buck, a Fresh Market Vegetable Specialist with the Cornell Vegetable Program, will share several tips. Topics will include variety selection, plant placement, soil conditions, disease identification and life-cycles, managing tomato diseases, and soil fertility.
