Are you interested in starting a garden to help provide food for your family, flowers for your enjoyment, or even a small farm stand? Or, are you a beginning gardener looking for some tips and tricks to make your efforts more fruitful? Join Chautauqua County Master Gardener, Jim Cowan, as he shares his 40+ years of experience in starting and growing a garden. This workshop will cover ingredients for success that include planning a garden, site selection, soil preparation, gardening techniques, choosing varieties, managing weeds, pests and disease, and nutrient management.
$10/person, light refreshments offered. Doors open 30 minutes prior, please arrive early to complete your registration. Pre-registration is encouraged.
