MASTER GARDENERS TO HOST ANNUAL PLANT SALE

JAMESTOWN, NEW YORK (April 21, 2015) -- Cornell Cooperative Extension Chautauqua County’s Master Gardener Volunteer Program is excited to announce their 5th Annual Plant Sale.

The Master Gardener (MG) Volunteer Program of Chautauqua County will be holding the 5th Annual Plant Sale, Saturday, May 9,2015 at the Cornell Cooperative Extension Frank W. Bratt Agricultural Center. The Center is located at 3542 Turner Road off of Route 60. The sale will begin promptly at 9:00 AM with no early sales and it will end at 12:00 noon.

They will have tried and true perennials, annuals, herbs and shrubs from the Master Gardeners’ gardens. Master Gardener volunteers will be available to answer questions.

Handcrafted Mother’s Day gardening gifts and garden chic items will be available for sale. “It’s the perfect time to get excited about the garden season and a great way to help us raise funds to keep our program going strong,” said Cathy Seymour, Plant Sale coordinator.

The mission of the Master Gardeners of Chautauqua County is to educate and serve the community, utilizing university and research based horticultural information.
