JAMESTOWN, NEW YORK (January 31, 2019) -- Cornell Cooperative Extension of Chautauqua County’s Agriculture program is pleased to announce the upcoming informational program and Annual Meeting of the New York Beef Producer’s Association Region 2 for Cattaraugus and Chautauqua Counties, and Chautauqua County Beef Producer’s Association. This will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at the Falcons Nest Banquet Hall, 2001 E. Main Street Ext, Falconer, NY with the Social hour at 6:00 pm and Dinner at 7:00 pm. Anyone with an interest in the beef or dairy industry is welcome to attend this informational program.
The information presented will provide Beef Quality Assurance (BQA) re-certification credits. The Beef Quality Assurance program provides producers an opportunity to learn science based management information to enhance carcass quality, safety and improve animal care to produce quality, safe meat for themselves and consumers.

Each farm will receive one complimentary forage analysis (additional samples can be analyzed at cost). Please bring a representative sample in a labeled, sealed quart bag.
This educational program is organized by the Chautauqua County Beef Cattle Producer’s Association, with support from the New Beef Producer’s Association, New York Beef Council and Cornell Cooperative Extension of Chautauqua County.
