FREDONIA, NEW YORK (September 26, 2016) -- Cornell Cooperative Extension Chautauqua County’s 4-H Youth Development Program begins the new 4-H year on October 1, 2016.
The Canadaway 4-H Club will be holding registration for new members on Friday, September 30th from 5:30pm to 7:00pm at the Fredonia First United Methodist Church Community Room (Use the Education Entrance and follow the signs). The Canadaway 4-H Club and Cloverbud group are open to children Kindergarten and 5 years old (By January 1st) up to age 18. The club participates in Local and County wide activities, projects, and Community Service. There are a wide range of projects covered including, public speaking, sewing, cooking, woodworking, horticulture and gardening, photography and many others. These projects are then showcased at the Chautauqua County Fair in the club booth in July. If you are interested in joining please attend this registration event. You will need a copy of your medical insurance card to register. The cost for the year is $50 with Scholarships available to cover a portion of the cost for those who are in need.
