CCE-Chautauqua Announces New Leadership

Board of Directors Appoint Emily Reynolds as Executive Director

JAMESTOWN, NEW YORK (April 23, 2015) -- Cornell Cooperative Extension of Chautauqua County (CCE-Chautauqua) has a new Executive Director effective April 20th, 2015. Emily (Kidd) Reynolds, most recently serving as the Association’s Operations Manager and 4-H Youth Development Issue Leader, brings over 8 years of experience with CCE-Chautauqua to the position.

For the past six months, Emily Reynolds has served as CCE-Chautauqua’s Interim Operations Manager alongside with Shawn Tiede. Teide is currently the Executive Director of Cornell Cooperative Extension Wyoming County and has served as the Interim Executive Director for CCE-Chautauqua up to April 15th, 2015.

Reynolds is a lifelong resident of Chautauqua County that returned to the area after college and 2 years of work experience in Ohio. Reynolds has her Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of Findlay as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and a Bachelor of Science in Equestrian Studies.

Reynolds has been with Cornell Cooperative Extension for 8 years as the 4-H Issue Leader, serving the last 6 months as the Association’s Operations Manager. She has won several awards for her excellence in 4-H work through her years with Cooperative Extension. She is also an accomplished Equestrian, a professional Cowboy mounted shooter, a member of the Stagecoach West Professional Ride team and serves on the Sherman School Board.

“I am very excited about the opportunity to bring Cornell Cooperative Extension in Chautauqua County forward,” says Reynolds. “I will work collaboratively with the County to preserve and enhance the 4-H Youth Development Program and Agriculture in Chautauqua County, enriching the citizens of the county through Youth Development, Healthy Lifestyles, and Agriculture.”
