Master Gardeners Present Hours Served Awards

JAMESTOWN, NEW YORK (November 17, 2016) Cornell Cooperative Extension of Chautauqua County Master Gardener program recently held their annual service recognition dinner. During this year’s dinner the following volunteers were awarded their service pins for accumulating 100, 300 and 500 hours of service to the program.

During the year 2016 the Chautauqua Master Gardeners accumulated 2,357 hours of volunteer work for the county.

The Master Gardener Program is one of many programs offered by Cornell Cooperative Extension of Chautauqua County (CCE-Chautauqua). CCE-Chautauqua is a community based educational organization, affiliated with Cornell University, Chautauqua County Government, the NYS SUNY system, and the federal government through the United States Department of Agriculture’s National Institute of Food and Agriculture.
