This class is ideal for beginner saw users or as a refresher for seasoned users. It is roughly 2 hours in length and covers basic saw maintenance, best ergonomics practices, kickback prevention, safety elements of a modern saw, and proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) use.
Each participant will be able to try on different PPE and will safely start up, throttle up, and turn off a chainsaw. (There is no cutting in this class. No PowerPoint presentation. The class uses demonstrations, discussions, and hands-on activities.
