JAMESTOWN, NEW YORK (June 26, 2023) – Cornell Cooperative Extension of Chautauqua County’s Master Gardener Volunteer Program will have their second 2023 Evening in the Garden educational programming on July 19th at 6:00 pm. This Evening In, the Garden topic is “Adding Biodiversity to the Garden”.
Master Gardeners will lead a discussion about all sustainable garden practices as they reflect on our region’s climate change. They will talk about how we can support our local pollinators as we adjust to changes in temperature and precipitation in Zone 5.
Come and learn what annuals and perennials are suitable for these changes.
The demonstration garden is located on the campus of Jamestown Community College, 525 Falconer Street, Jamestown, NY It is located by the Physical Education Building on Curtis Street, right behind the tennis courts. Parking is off Curtis Street.
Future date for Evening in the Garden August 16, 2023. The topic will be “In the Fall, Think Spring”.
The Master Gardener Program is one of many programs offered by Cornell Cooperative Extension of Chautauqua County (CCE-Chautauqua).
