DUNKIRK, NY (July 19, 2024) - -Cornell Cooperative Extension of Chautauqua 4-H members have a variety of projects on display in the 4-H Building. The 4-H building is a showcase of the projects created by talented 4-H members; these items are on display all week. The 4-H Building was very busy Wednesday as county fair goers had a chance to enjoy several youth and adult activities. The following 4-H members participated in the Annual Chautauqua County Fair 4-H Fashion Revue and Mannequin Modeling in the 4-H Building: Tianna Bova, Logan Ellsworth, Cody Nickerson, Brant Joy, Drake Joy, Myra Rose Joy, Lukas Liskow, Rowan Liskow, Mitchell Tauzel, Ava-Carmella Valone, Gianna Valone, Serenity Van Vleck, Claudia Almekinder, Grace Reid and River Long.
4-H youth Clothing and Textiles Project members took the opportunity today to show-off their latest creations in the 4-H Youth Fashion Revue and Mannequin Modeling display. Commentaries provided a brief description of each 4-H member’s age, experience, club and clothing items were described to include steps to make their items
Several sewers also offered a Mannequin Modeling show, as well as a new event that involved a competition to see who could hold their pose the longest. It was an intense competition, with Mitchell Tauzel winning the special award and prize!! All members received a blue ribbon for their efforts!
