4-H Green Tie Affair - February 23, 2025

2025 4-H Green Tie Affair Announced

Save the Date to support 4-H at the Green Tie Affair!

JAMESTOWN, NEW YORK (December 16, 2024) – Chautauqua County 4-H is excited to share the date for the 11th Annual Green Tie Affair Fundraiser!

The event will be held on Sunday, February 23, 2025 at the Chautauqua Harbor Hotel. This venue was new to us last year and did an incredible job hosting us. We look forward to another year at this wonderful venue!

The festivities will begin at 3:00 pm with a Bake Sale and Basket Raffle. Dinner will be at 5:00 pm and the famous pie auction will follow dinner.

The pie list will be published prior to the event and the pies will be on display at the event as well. New this year - Om Nohm Bakery in Fredonia has donated a gluten-free Blueberry Pie! We are excited to be able to be more inclusive with our pie auction!

Table sponsorships are available! Sponsors receive 10 dinner tickets, a custom table centerpiece, a page of raffle tickets, their business card on the placemat at the dinner, advertisement in the local press and social media, and their name on our thank you banner. Table sponsor information has been mailed out to those who sponsored in previous years and are also available by calling the Cornell Cooperative Extension Office.

Tickets are also available to purchase without the purchase of the entire table. Individual tickets are $25 each pre-sale or $30 at the door. Door tickets did sell out last year, so stop in to the Extension Office to get yours today!

This is the largest fundraiser of the year for 4-H. Last year, 4-H reached about 300 youth and 150 adults with livestock education and club programming, 600 5th grade youth with our Conservation Field Day, and over 500 youth in special interest 4-H programming, such as Leaf Junior classes. We also reached over 200 youth with afterschool experiences and over 3600 youth with in-school experiences.

We hope you will join us on February 23rd at the Chautauqua Harbor Hotel for the Green Tie Affair!
