For Peate’s Sake Homestead was started with two goals in mind; to raise animals in a way that allows them to express their natural behaviors and to be as sustainable as the owners can manage. Towards those goals, For Peate’s Sake Homestead only uses antibiotic as necessary for the wellbeing of the animals, never uses farrowing crates, and raises all their animals either on pasture or free range. They believe raising their animals in such a way results in a higher quality product that not only tastes better, but makes you feel better about eating.

Their products offered include: Beef - Pasture raised and fed primarily grass and hay with a small amount of grain added to their diet. Their beef is tender and flavorful. Pork- Their pigs are raised on pasture and with access to the outside 24/7. Fed a varied diet of whey, cheese, produce, hay, and grain results in a pork of superior flavor. Chicken- They raise Freedom Ranger chickens Free-Range. They have a bit more leg meat and a little less breast meat than commercial chickens, but they more than make up for it in taste. Eggs- Eggs from their mixed flock of free range laying hens. $3/dozen. Eggs are a mixture of white and brown eggs, with the occasional blue/green egg thrown in. New products being offered are honey and micro greens!

Check out their website for current pricing and availability of our products. They accept Cash, and all Major Credit Cards, and checks for deposit only.
