4-H Dairy Quiz Bowl – Join us for FUN on the buzzers!
Come out for the first 4-H Dairy Quiz Bowl meeting of the year on Saturday, November 9th from 12:30-1:45 pm at JCC in room 123 of the Carnahan Center. We are planning to get things rolling with some fun information, sample contests, and news of the upcoming year that will involve prizes for your knowledge. We are also looking to have parents join us at this meeting, to be a part of this beginning organizational dairy bowl activity, so that we can accommodate parents and kids alike with everyone’s busy schedules.
A little friendly competition will be had by all! Learn about the dairy industry and prepare to share that information all while being as fast as you can on the buzzers. Come join the fun on November 9th! To help plan for handouts, please register by November 7th by contacting Lisa Kempisty at 664-9502 Ext 203 or ljk4@cornell.edu.
Additional meetings will be scheduled after this November meeting and will be sent by e-mail to 4-H dairy youth and be included in the 4-H newsletter. All 4-H dairy youth need to attend at least two educational activities in 2019-2020 to be eligible to show at the County Fair and for project completion. Each dairy bowl meeting can count as one educational activity.
