Whether you’re interested in replacing your tractor with real horse power or want to learn to drive draft horses as a hobby, this seminar will cover the basics of farming with draft horses. Learn about draft horse care and management, costs of horse keeping, equipment, safety basics and the many ways you can use draft horses around your farm. Kristen and Kaitlyn are lifelong horse owners and draft horse drivers, and formerly taught the Alfred University draft horse driving program, teaching well over 100 students the basics of driving these “gentle giants.”
