4-H Hopping Around Happy

DUNKIRK, NY (July 23, 2019) --- The 4-H Rabbit Project held two shows during the week of the Chautauqua County Fair. The Rabbit Show was held Monday and Showmanship was held Thursday. This year the show was judged by Brock Meanor from Sewickley, PA.

The top placings in the First Year Junior Showman class were Mya Tompsett, Everett leBarron, and Nickolas Potocki. The top junior showman was Mackenzy Graziano with Luisa Smith and Josiah Sprague placing second and third, respectively. The Champion Senior Showman was Emily DeGolier followed by Emily Brown and Amelia Sprague. Overall Grand Champion Showman was awarded to Emily DeGolier and Reserve Grand Champion Showman was awarded to Mackenzy Graziano. Receiving the honor or Best of Show was Emily DeGolier with her French Lop. Reserve Best of Show was Amelia Sprague with her Silver. Gabi Koszewski received honorable mention for her Britania Petite.
