Final Evening in the Garden September 20th

JAMESTOWN, NEW YORK (September 15, 2017) The final Evening in the Garden of the Cornell Cooperative Extension Master Gardeners will be held on Wednesday, September 20th at 6 pm. The demonstration garden is located at the Frank Bratt Ag Center, 3542 Turner Road, Jamestown. The final discussions of the season will include seed saving by Master Gardener, Camille Guinnane, perennials led by Master Gardener Carolyn Smallback, and an evaluation of the bio char experiment by Master Gardener, Peggy Fitzgibbon. There will also be on the spot pH soil testing. Only a small amount of soil will be needed for this testing. The demonstration garden committee of the Master Gardener group would like to thank all those who have attended the EIG for their overwhelming support of our garden project. We will be on hand for gardening questions following the discussions. The Master Gardener Help Desk will be available every Wednesday from noon until 2 through the rest of September. Call 716-664-9502 ext. 224, e-mail ccemgcc@gmail.com or drop in at the Ag Center.
