The Vanstrom Homestead is a rotational grazing dairy farm in Kennedy, NY. We have cross-bred with beef breeds for several years now to offer direct sale and bulk beef, as well as pork, lamb, goat and chicken. Animals are grass-fed with a grain supplement to keep them healthy and happy.
Sam and Eric are raising their three young kids in his grandparents' old farmhouse, continuing on the farming tradition. They both love to talk shop, so feel free to call, text or come by (life with kids is busy though, please call before you head out). They sell from the house and can oftentimes make deliveries. In season, they sell our grass-fed meats at the Lakewood (Thursdays) and Westfield (Saturdays) Farmers' Markets.
